Legislative decisions impact our daily lives, including our profession. It is vital for RDNs, NDTRs, and students to become active in public policy. Most dietetic jobs are publically funded or affected by insurance reimbursement. The Indiana Academy board, along with its members, and community partners work to advocate for nutrition and public policy issues that improve the wellbeing of people at the federal, state, and local levels.
